The academy is a collaboration between multiple universities to insert environmental activism, education and hands-on projects as part of the summer internship programs of Otterbein University, Denison University, Kenyon College, OSU Marion and Ohio Wesleyan University. The academy started a few weeks ago with virtual collaborations on Tuesday evenings.
The first cohort field trip/working day was on June 29, where the interns from Otterbein, OWU, Denison and MTSO visited the interns at Kenyon. The cohort took a tour of Kenyon’s three sisters gardening project, had a light lunch of food from Kenyon’s on site farm and had fun tubing down the Kokosing River. More field trips are planned later in the summer. View photos of the day in a special photo album shot by cohort member Missy Flynn.
